Policies

  • A 24-hour notice is required for all cancellation/rescheduling of appointments.

    Appointments canceled/rescheduling within 24-hours of your scheduled time or no-show will be charged 100% of the service fee. Cancellations for groups of 3 or more require a 48-hour notice.

    If you have to cancel during non-business hours, please leave us an email. We will accommodate your cancellation/rescheduling request according to the time the email was sent. Please refer to the contact information below for the email address.

    Cancellation online is available. However, for late cancellations past the required 24-hour notice, you will need to call us directly to cancel as the option to cancel online will not be allowed.

  • While we strive to accommodate late arrivals, please be aware that tardiness may lead to a shortened or forfeited appointment to avoid disruption to subsequent schedules. Kindly note that you are still required to pay the full price for the service.

  • In consideration of everyone's safety, we require face masks to be worn even if you are fully vaccinated. Our employees will continue to wear face masks and wear gloves during services. If you forget your mask, we will provide you with one. If you are not feeling well or have a fever, we ask that you stay home and reschedule your appointment. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to navigate what is safest for both our clients and staff.

  • We require a credit card to secure all appointments over the phone and through our online booking system. Our Gift Cards can not be used to secure appointments. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services they need. All cards on file are added to the system via a secure electronic process that ensures the information is encrypted and remains secure. In the event that we do not receive the required notice for adjustments and cancellations the policy fees will be applied to your card or alternatively billed out to you. Notification given at least 24 hours prior will receive no charges.

  • As you may be aware, we’ve made a change in our practices at NIB regarding the provision of disposable slippers for pedicures. While our decision is rooted in our commitment to sustainability, we understand that there may be instances where you forget to bring your own slippers or simply don't have the opportunity to retrieve them from home. To address this, we now offer regular flip-flops that you can purchase for $10 — which you can return for gift card reimbursement after the fact (as long as the flip flops are returned to us in good condition). This gift card can be used during your next NIB visit!

    Please note that maintaining the slippers’ original condition is essential for ensuring they can be reused by another customer. We believe in treating all of our customers fairly and reasonably, so if you have any inquiries or concerns about the slipper policy and return process, our team is here to assist you.

Shipping & Returns

  • If you are not fully happy with your purchase, we accept returns on qualifying items within 14-days of receipt for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. Online return windows start from the marked date of delivery. Store credits are issued as e-gift cards and can only be used toward our retail items. They cannot be redeemed for salon services. Returned items must be unused and in their original condition with all packaging intact.

    Please keep in mind that due to health safety & the nature of some of our goods, not all products qualify for a return. The following items are final sale and do not qualify for a return for refund, exchange, or store credit. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Please email us at the respective location with a photo of the nail art you'd like. We will review your request and get back to you with an estimate in pricing and availability. Please keep in mind, not all requested designs may be available to be done at our Tysons location. Thank you for your understanding as we get our our new team fully trained to our NIB standards.

  • The frequency of massage sessions required to see improvement can vary depending on individual factors, goals, and circumstances. Generally, for general wellness and maintenance, receiving a massage once a month or every few weeks is advisable. However, if you have specific conditions or concerns, more frequent sessions may be necessary. For instance, if you are dealing with chronic pain or muscle tension, weekly or bi-weekly massages could be recommended to alleviate symptoms.

  • You can expect to feel relaxed and experience reduced stress. Your range of motion and flexibility may improve, and any pain or discomfort you had before the massage may be relieved. Blood circulation may increase, giving you a warm sensation in your skin. Remember to drink plenty of water to sustain this effect for as long as possible!

  • You can schedule your massage appointment 48 hours after Botox or filler injections since applying pressure or manipulating the muscles through massage could potentially interfere with the desired effects of the Botox or filler treatment.

  • Absolutely! Once you’ve reached 12 weeks of pregnancy, massage therapy can be a wonderful way to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and reduce pregnancy-related discomfort. To ensure your safety and provide you with personalized care, please complete both a regular intake form and a prenatal intake form. The prenatal intake form allows us to gather specific information about your pregnancy, medical history and any concerns you may have.

  • While massage therapy is generally safe, there are potential side effects and risks to consider. These can include temporary soreness or discomfort after a massage, possible allergic reactions to massage products, rare instances of bruising or skin irritation from vigorous techniques, considerations for pre-existing medical conditions, special precautions during pregnancy, and the avoidance of deep tissue massage for individuals at risk of deep vein thrombosis. It’s important to communicate any concerns or conditions with us if needed to ensure a safe and seamless massage experience.

  • Are there any side effects or risks associated with massage?

  • Yes, you can resume your daily activities immediately after a facial. However, it’s important to keep in mind a few considerations:

    Depending on your skin type, you may experience temporary redness or slight sensitivity after the facial. This is normal and should subside within a few hours.

    After a facial, it’s important to protect your skin from excessive sun exposure. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an appropriate SPF if you plan to be outdoors.

  • Yes, our facial service is safe for pregnant women. We do not use any harmful products or machines during the treatment, ensuring a safe and relaxing experience for expectant mothers.

  • We harness the power in our hands (not machines) to target the lymphatic system in your face and neck. By using the appropriate amount of pressure for your skin type and status, our facial massages relax the muscles on your face and neck while promoting active blood circulation. The result? A naturally bright complexion and lifting effect that enhances your face‘s absorptive power.

  • Our facial services are only available for individuals aged 14 or older. We kindly ask you to wait until you’ve become 14.

  • Yes, facials can be tailored to suit various skin types, including dry, oily, sensitive, combination, and normal skin.

  • While facials are generally safe, some people may experience temporary redness, sensitivity, or breakouts after the treatment. These effects usually subside within a day or two. For that reason, it’s essential to communicate with your esthetician before your treatment to ensure the appropriate products and methods are used.
